Interview with John Miller, judge for the 36th Judicial District of Texas, who shares his observations on the development in the Coastal Bend area of South Texas from 1940 to 1970. He also discusses criminal offenses in Aransas County, justices of the peace, the appointment of county commissioners, the selection of grand jurors, and comments on Governors Dan Moody, James Allred, Allan Shivers, and John Connally. Miller talks about South Texas politics in general and the Johnson-Stevenson senatorial election of 1948.
